Zhiwei You Wins Student Poster Competition at UFFC-JS Conference

We are proud to announce that Zhiwei You's work titled 'Three-Port Piezoelectric Microphone with Stiffness Modification Based on DC Bias' has received the Student Poster Competition Award at the UFFC-JS conference. This research addresses the critical challenge of improving microphone sensitivity while maintaining linearity under high sound pressure levels. By utilizing PZT polarization characteristics with DC bias-stiffness modification, the work demonstrates a tunable characteristic frequency from 43.87 kHz to 46.40 kHz and significantly enhances output linearity (correlation coefficient improved from 0.9754 to 0.9967) with minimal sensitivity variation (<3 dB). This post-fabrication tunable approach opens new possibilities for high-AOP acoustic sensing applications.
