Congratulations! Our Group Member Wang Junhao Invited to Attend Zhongguancun Forum

Wang Junhao, a master's student in our research group, attended the 'Industrial Frontline Tech Talent Innovation and Development Forum' held at the 2026 Zhongguancun Forum Annual Conference as a youth representative. He later shared his insights on cultivating industrial tech talent in the AI era.

During the forum, Wang Junhao noted that the most impressive takeaway from the experts' speeches was their emphasis on 'staying grounded on the frontline.' 'Whether it's the chief expert from the State Grid or the chief scientist in agricultural breeding, they all show us through their own experiences: the frontline of industry is the best arena for youth growth,' he said.

As a current master's student, Wang admitted that he had previously struggled with the tendency to 'develop technologies in isolation within the lab.' However, participating in this forum has helped clarify his direction for learning and growth. He emphasized that students must build a solid professional foundation to effectively transfer knowledge into future industrial applications, while staying attuned to real industrial needs.

Wang deeply resonated with the experts' call for frontline tech talent to become 'versatile talents.' He believes that the younger generation should fully leverage their creativity, empathy, and practical execution skills, integrating professional knowledge with AI technologies to become interdisciplinary talents.

'Ultimately, technology serves the market and society,' Wang said. 'As young students, we need not only to write papers and run experiments, but also to understand how technology can truly solve real-world problems and translate into product competitiveness. This is a crucial lesson that must be learned beyond the classroom.'

The forum has further strengthened his resolve to step out of the lab and onto the industrial frontline. He expressed his commitment to learning through hands-on practice, actively participating in industry-university-research collaboration projects, and contributing as a young talent to the application of AI technologies across various industries.
